How are our habits of standing and walking deeply interrelated with the movements of our ankles and toes? This lesson begins by taking time to sense how we stand on our feet and how we move through our feet as we walk. Continuing to build awareness of how the relationship with the ground through our feet directly impacts forces through our knees, hips, and spine, this lesson explores very small movements of the ankles and toes in a variety of ways. Perhaps begin to notice how the movement through your ankles, the availability of toes, how you stand on the inside our outside of your feet begins to shift and change and open up new possibilities of engaging with the ground and thus affecting the organization through the whole of yourself.
